The Employee Culture of those Who support You

Over the past few years in business it has seemed like a struggle from day to day to focus on business with all that had been doing on. The demands of running a global company that is ever growing from day to day as well as focus on your ever growing emnployee base not to mention, finance, strategy and global outlooks. It has been a struggle until recently when I understood that my people - the life's blood of my business are the joy of my life, the help in the need of time and the supporters that I need. Over this last month, I have had a wonderful transformation from the beleaguered leader to the one who understand the value of true people who support your vision, framework and mindset and when you are running a global company - that is important. T his is why they have my heart- and my wallet.

In my company, from Day one I have set out to make sure that our employees have a good life and that has been making sure that our offerings global wide are awesome, that our products are great and that the environments that our people work in are conduscive to productivity. For as the leader, you are responsible for more than just the money, you have created not an organization, but an organism. Anything that involves people at any level is not an organization, it is an organism, a living breathing and speaking thing. And where organisms live, their is nothing but life.

Our employees, our culture and our understanding need to be as such that we know that our people are the center of what is happening. Their voice needs a say, their opinons need to be taken seriously and their lives need to be valued. These are what I consider, non-negotiables. A person who feels that they have no voice because a breeding ground for bitterness and bitterness will spread and defile the whole organism like a cancer; If they are heard, but their opinons are not taken seriously then their self-esteem, confidence, and trust in the leadership or their leaders will deflate, leaving them behind a lackluster performace day by day; and if they don't feel valued, just like a marraige, they will seek to feel it somewhere and will find someone who will feel they have a place.

We as leaders need to encourage and create such an organism and safe place and not allow our misgivings to interrupt the way we manage, execute, and develop our human resources policies, our global cultures and our people. There must be a rigid understand of freedom; non-conformaity and a buy in of the company's executive culture and as my brother - in - law put it - the people need to see their leaders. Period.

Keep our people strategy first and our business strategy second. They are the most important. Yes, it is people before profits. It has always been and always will be. My people are family to me and they are most important and I have created things for them to live well beyond their tenure in my company. They are that important ome. I take them seriously and I encourage all leaders to do the same.

Learning a lot about business

After 8 years in business and a continual growing company, I have learned more than ever to be focused on the things you are doing. Rawls collaborative is my company and our vision is to be global economic impact in the world impacting the world in a positive manner, creating jobs, investing into the communities that we serve globally all the while making sure that our employees are the center piece of our company global wide. This is very important as the people whom we serve are the most important asset a company an manage and to me that is the most important. Especially with so many different companies to manage from Sports Management to Retail companies.

There are so many things that we have to focus on as business leaders and as leaders in the field of business. Many time our greatest asset, our people, are the ones who need us the most for direction, but the ones we rely on the most. I have learned this as a leader in my company. I have learned to be protective over the time and the lives of my people. Their well being is essential to the company because the company is not organization, but an organism. A living breathing thing composed of living breathing bodies.
